INFORMATION FOR DATA SUBJECTS AND CONSENT REQUEST, PURSUANT TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE
The Academy of Well-Being Therapy (hereinafter referred to as “AWBT”) with registered office in Studio Associato manna e Galgani, via N. Tommaseo 68, 35131 Padova, Italy, pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 dealing with the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”), in its quality of Data Controller. Hereby informs you about the protection and processing of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Data”), collected from you by subscribing to the website www.well-being-therapy.com. According to the Code, the Data processing activities shall be carefully, lawfully and fairly executed and the Data shall be processed in order to safeguard your privacy and your rights.
Particularly, under the terms of section 13 of the Code, you are provided with the following information:
A. The Data you will supply shall be processed for the following purposes:
1. sending and forwarding of newsletters, brochures and any other advertising documents and materials on courses, programs, masters, training and educational courses and programs on Well-Being Therapy, as well as any communication and invitations to events, conferences and training/career events launched and promoted by AWBT. All properly related activities are included.
2. Statistical analysis and research on an anonymous and aggregate basis;
3. Fruition of services and opportunities available on the website www.well-being-therapy.com;
4. Applying all obligations imposed by laws, regulations, or Community legislation;
B. The Data may be accessed by (i) AWBT staff in charge of the management of the relationship between you and AWBT;
(ii) AWBT staff whose Data access is required by Law;
(iii) AWBT teaching staff as well as any other WBT departments and offices whose Data access is necessary for the performing of all above-mentioned activities.
The Data may be communicated to third parties and entities whose collaboration AWBT could use for any data processing activities. Apart from said subjects, no other persons shall have access to the Data. The Data shall not be disseminated.
C. The supplying of the Data is optional although require allowing AWBT to offer above mentioned activities. Failure to provide the required Data will prevent AWBT from providing and performing such activities.
D. The Data, collected by completion of the appropriate forms, shall be processed both electronically or manually. In any case, the Data shall be processed by appropriate means in order to ensure Data safety and privacy.
E. You may exercise your rights at any time in respect of the Data Controller pursuant to Section 7 of the Code.
