The Academy of Well-Being Therapy (AWBT) provides an individual certification process including both introductory conceptual issues and clinical applications of Well-Being Therapy. The certification is intended for licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists holding Ph.D. and/or Psy.D. degree(s).

Those who are interested in obtaining the certificate of Well-Being Therapy Specialist should send an e-mail to academy@well-being-therapy.com expressing their intention to get the certification and including their CV.

The certification process will consist in the supervision of two clinical cases (for a total of 8 hours), followed by presentation and discussion of one clinical case with the Academy of Well-Being Therapy Committee. Introductory conceptual issues will be reviewed and discussed with the supervisor, and relevant references will be provided, as well as specific assessment instruments.

Once the request has been approved, applicants should send to academy@well-being-therapy.com a proof of payment (direct deposit receipt of 1,100 Euros) for administrative costs. The second payment (1,600 Euros) is due after supervision completion. The total certification fee is 2,700 Euros.

In their presentation trainees will illustrate and discuss a clinical case treated with Well-Being Therapy. A written case report (typewritten in English, 15-20 double spaced pages, including excerpts from the patient’s diary and patient-therapist interactions) should be sent to academy@well-being-therapy.com upon completion of supervision.
